I have grapheme-color synesthesia. That means that every letter and number have a color associated with it in my mind. While I know that this letter T is black on the page, I see it as light blue (K is pink, H is dark brown, etc). The first letter of every word determines the color of that word and the first number determines the color of that number. So, the word scissors is red because S is red and 239 is blue because 2 is blue. Also, I don’t like that some letters and numbers are the colors that they are, but they just are that color. I realized this isn’t how everyone saw the world until one day I mentioned that a word was a blue word and someone responded with, “What the fuck are you talking about?”
